Breast cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death in women, and 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer. While several risk factors like gender, aging and genetic risks cannot be avoided, there are some things women can do to reduce their risk including limiting alcohol use, not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight, and increasing daily, physical activity.
